Mission Statement
To build capacity in governance and economic development through the transfer of knowledge and skills by Volunteer Advisers.
Nature of Work
We provide the donated services of Volunteer Advisers to businesses, communities, organizations including enterprises directly benefiting women; all of which are unable to access commercial consultants. CESO advisers are willing to share a lifetime of technical and professional skills. They receive no salary, but derive a great deal of satisfaction in helping others succeed.
Placement
Canada, and countries in Africa, Asia, the Americas and Eastern Europe.
Time Frame
Typically, overseas projects last two weeks to two months and National projects last one day to two weeks.

CESO volunteers come from a wide range of managerial, professional and technical backgrounds. We are currently in need of experts in Food Services, Food Processing, Governance, Human Resources Development, Tourism, Financial Management, etc.
Other Details
Travel, insurance and local living expenses are paid for by CESO. Most projects are conducted in either English or French, or in other languages with the help of interpreters. Bilingualism is an asset, as is strong fluency in other languages, especially: Canadian Aboriginal languages, Russian, Spanish, and Ukrainian.
