Mission Statement
Our mission is to manifest God's saving mystery, not only within our boundaries but in the larger world as well. Through our committment to social transformation, we build the community of faith. The recognition of God's gift demands a response from those who have received it.
Purpose
We believe that a helping hand is more effective than a handout. We create community-based solutions that cover healthcare, education, and social support services.
Nature of Work
We provide educational services, manual labour, technical assistance, land cultivation, and spiritual guidance in the form of Catholic catechism and other social programs.
Placement
Mexico, Kenya, Egypt and Canada.
Time Frame
Kenya, Canada & Egypt - all countries have ongoing projects all year.
Commitment Begins
Missionaries are welcome to begin anytime after completing a 2-3 month preparation process with the organizaiton.
Remuneration
No
Cost to Participate
Airfare and immunizations.
Requirements
Adults (18+), preferably with previous volunteer experience. A passion for helping others and willingness to share in the Catholic faith is a must.
Other Details
We are in need of missionaries with medical knowledge and experience (e.g. doctors, nurses, etc.) as well as those working in trades (e.g. carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.).
