Mission Statement
Operation Beaver program is based on the partnership of communities concerned about their advancement with like-minded volunteers worldwide.
Volunteers work with low income Native and non-Native communities to provide better housing and living conditions.
Nature of Work
Housing (engineering, architecture, carpentry, graphics, etc.), and teachers.
Placement
Canada
Time Frame
For the summer, minimum three-month commitment.
In NWT, Yukon and Nunavut, minimum five months.

Cost to Participate
A $50 non-refundable fee for volunteer application.
Requirements
Candidates should be at least 18 years of age. Previous volunteer or work experience is appreciated.
Other Details
- Minimum living allowance ($50.00 a week) on educational projects.
- Living and travel expenses are paid by organization.
- Medical insurance provided for volunteers from overseas.
