Mission Statement
As a contemplative Community we are concerned with the heartache of the world, the needs of the oppressed, the poor and the abandoned. Our life in the contemplative order is centered on the communal prayer of the Liturgy of the Hours, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and daily celebration of the Eucharist. The simplicity of our lives of prayer, work, silence, celebration, self sacrifice and continual conversion, enables us to radiate the joy of hope for the world.
Nature of Work
As contemplatives we support ourselves chiefly by the making and rental of Confirmation and First Communion gowns, some other sewing, contact with persons in need of prayer through the Association of the Perpetual Lamp in honour of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. We have an Associate Program which is open to both men and women. The Associate is our extension to the outside world.
