Oblates of Mary Immaculate - St. Peter's Province
Mission Statement
As Oblates of St. Peter's Province, we clearly and strongly affirm that we make ours the Congregation's commitment to the most abandoned, marginalized, and the materially poor.
In pursuing ministries that give expression to this commitment, we shall favour coming together in apostolic communities that foster and support our Oblate life and work. We encourage the development of the gifts of each in solidarity with the needs of the church. In a spirit of risk, creativity and corporate responsibility, we shall seek involvement in ministries that promote renewal as well as the development of the ministry of all christians.
We therefore call the Province to this mission and to the ongoing task of its realization ever more concretely in our lives and work. May this renewal in our corporate sense of mission make us more faithful Oblates of Mary Immaculate, who prefigures God's final victory in Christ.
