Purpose
To help those in greatest need in Canada and abroad.
Nature of Work
Humanitarian work in Mexico that involves Canadian youth building houses, distributing basic necessities, and providing funds for medical care and education.
Outreach work in Canada that provides dinners, hampers, clothing to those in greatest need, especially to street youth and people with disabilities.
Placement
- Mexico - Currently in Mexico City and Guadalajara.
- Canada - Primarily in Vancouver and Lower Mainland.
Time Frame
Mexico: Trips are mid-July to mid-August, approx. 35 days.
Canada: Ongoing programs all year.

No
Requirements
Mexico program is targeted for youth 15-18, but all are welcome. Adults are needed as leaders on the trip.
Canada program is open to teens and adults, but some activities require people over the age of 19.
Other Details
Mexico: Application and preparation period from January until mid-July. Summer program entails a mandatory interview period in February with a mandatory group meeting in May, a workshop in June, and a two-day retreat in July.
