Purpose
Scarboro Missions is a Catholic organization of Canadians, priests and laity, committed to the person, teaching and mission of Jesus Christ. Our challenge is to live and celebrate that mission here and now. Our priorities are the global Church and the poor of the world.
Nature of Work
Scarboro priest missioners along with our laity, serve the global mission of the Church, in cross-cultural, pastoral ministry, forming Christian leaders, solidarity with the poor, advocacy for justice, interfaith dialogue, witness of presence through service, ecology, and finding creative new ways of witnessing to the Gospel.

Requirements
In general: Catholic, male, age 18-40, successfully completed High School, able/willing to pursue seminary studies, Canadian citizen / Landed immigrant status, good health, presently active in the Catholic Church, free from addictions/dependencies, open in heart and mind to discern a missionary voction.
Other Details
Leads to lifetime commitment. Six months usually for processing of application. Program divided into discernment period of 4 to 8 months with Scarboro Missions; after college/university degree, studies in the seminary: 2 years theology and formation; 1 year overseas mission formation; final 2 years of theology and formation before Ordination.
