Mission Statement
It is our mission to provide programs where concerned people can work together to help overcome the need, violence and environmental decay we face today. Workcamps are a microcosm of a world where nations join together to improve life for humanity. We believe workcamps are a practical way to both prevent and resolve conflict over the long haul.
Purpose
To promote international good-will through people exchanges and community service for work-camp hosts and volunteers, linking people with programs.
Nature of Work
Construction, restoration, environmental, social, agricultural and maintenance work-camps.
Placement
Over 3000 affordable (US$250-$500) international voluntary service programs in 95+ countries.
Time Frame
Mostly 2-3 weeks in summer. Possible to register for more than one in same or different countries.

Requirements
Anyone age 18 and up. Age 16 and up in France(40 camps), Germany(120 camps), and Turkey camps). Work-campers average age is 21-25.

Write to VFP to order the International Work-camp directory(US$20),available early April.
Meals and accommodation.
Remuneration - none. Participants pay US$ 250 per work-camp.
